本政策说明译笺 Chrome 扩展（下称“译笺”或“本扩展”）在提供网页翻译、 划词翻译和正文摘要功能时，如何处理用户数据。

适用范围与单一用途
译笺的单一用途是：翻译和摘要用户主动浏览或选择的网页正文， 提供原文对照、划词翻译和正文速览，帮助用户阅读不同语言的网页内容。
处理的数据
为实现上述功能，本扩展可能处理以下数据：
- 身份验证信息：你填写的 API Key。
- 网站内容：你主动要求翻译或摘要的正文、页面标题，以及你主动选择用于划词翻译的文字。
- 扩展设置：API 地址、模型名称、目标语言、界面语言和悬浮按钮位置。
译笺不会建立或上传你的浏览历史列表，也不会为广告、用户画像或信用评估收集数据。
数据用途
上述数据仅用于你主动触发的扩展功能：
- 把网页正文或选中文字翻译为你选择的语言；
- 生成正文摘要、核心大纲和内容脉络；
- 测试你配置的 API 地址、Key 与模型是否可用；
- 保存设置并恢复悬浮按钮位置。
我们不会出售用户数据，不会将其用于广告，不会将其用于与上述单一用途无关的目的， 也不会允许人工读取用户的网页内容。
本地存储
API 地址、API Key、模型、语言和界面偏好通过 chrome.storage.local 保存在当前 Chrome 用户的扩展本地存储中。这些设置不会同步到开发者服务器。
设置会保留到你修改设置、清除扩展数据或卸载扩展为止。 页面译文和摘要只显示在当前网页中，刷新或切换页面后会重置。
用户选择的第三方 API
译笺不绑定特定模型服务商。执行翻译、摘要或连接测试时，API Key、 模型名称和必要的文本内容会直接发送到你配置的 API 地址。 API Key 仅作为 Bearer 凭据用于该请求。
第三方 API 服务商可能依据其自身的隐私政策处理和保留请求数据。 请在配置服务前查看该服务商的隐私政策，并优先使用可信的 HTTPS API 地址。 请勿翻译你不希望发送给所选服务商的敏感内容。
共享、出售与远程代码
除为完成你主动请求的功能而向你选择的 API 服务商传输必要数据外， 译笺不会向其他第三方共享或出售用户数据。
本扩展不下载或执行远程 JavaScript、WebAssembly 或其他远程托管的可执行文件。 所有可执行代码均包含在扩展安装包内；API 返回内容仅作为文本数据展示，不会被执行。
安全措施
译笺限制 API Key 的使用范围，并把设置保存在 Chrome 扩展隔离的本地存储中。 建议始终配置 HTTPS API 地址，以保护数据传输安全。 任何网络传输都无法保证绝对安全，因此请谨慎处理敏感信息。
你的选择与数据删除
你可以随时修改 API 设置、清除网页译文与摘要，或通过 Chrome 清除扩展数据。卸载译笺会删除由本扩展保存在当前浏览器中的本地设置。 如需删除第三方 API 服务商保存的数据，请联系相应服务商。
儿童隐私、政策更新与联系
译笺不以儿童为目标，也不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。 如本政策发生重要变更，我们会更新本页及“最后更新”日期。

Purpose and scope
LinguaNote is a Chrome extension whose single purpose is to translate and summarize web-page text that the user is actively viewing or selects, providing inline bilingual reading, selection translation, and a page brief.
Data we process
The extension may process your API key; the page title, article text, and selected text you actively ask it to translate or summarize; and settings such as API endpoint, model, language, interface preference, and floating button position. LinguaNote does not build or upload a browsing-history list.
How data is used
Data is used only to perform translations and summaries you request, test your API connection, and remember extension preferences. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising, profiling, or credit decisions, or allow humans to read users' web content.
Local storage
API settings and preferences are stored in the current Chrome profile using chrome.storage.local and are not synchronized to a developer-operated server. They remain until you change them, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension. Page translations and summaries reset when the page is refreshed or changed.
Your chosen third-party API
LinguaNote operates no developer-controlled translation proxy. When you initiate a translation, summary, selection translation, or connection test, the necessary text, model name, and API key are sent directly to the OpenAI Chat Completions-compatible endpoint you configured. That provider processes data under its own privacy and retention terms. Use a trusted HTTPS endpoint and do not submit sensitive text you do not want that provider to receive.
Sharing, remote code, and security
We do not share or sell user data except for the transfer to your chosen API provider that is necessary to complete your request. The extension does not download or execute remote JavaScript, WebAssembly, or other executable files. API responses are displayed only as text and are never executed.
Your choices and deletion
You can change API settings, clear in-page results, clear Chrome extension data, or uninstall LinguaNote at any time. To delete data retained by your selected API provider, contact that provider directly.
Children, changes, and contact
LinguaNote is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in the last-updated date. For privacy questions, use the support channel listed on LinguaNote's Chrome Web Store listing.
LinguaNote's use of user data is limited to the disclosed core functionality and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
